Established in 2017, Bison In Vegas has grown into a signature event that not only celebrates HBCU pride but also creates meaningful pathways for student success. The weekend is intentionally designed to bridge the gap between education and career advancement while fostering lifelong connections among alumni and corporate partners. 

Key highlights of the weekend include the Bison In Vegas HBCU Alumni Career Fair, which connects talented HBCU students and graduates with leading corporations offering internships, mentorship, and full-time career opportunities, and the Bison In Vegas HBCU Alumni Shotgun Golf Tournament Fundraiser, a premier networking event that raises critical funds to support scholarships and year-round student programming. 

In addition to these cornerstone events, the weekend features a series of curated experiences including networking receptions, social events, and community engagement opportunities that reflect the spirit and excellence of the HBCU tradition. 

Proceeds from the Bison In Vegas HBCU Alumni Weekend directly support scholarships for Nevada students attending HBCUs, as well as career readiness initiatives, leadership development programs, and community-based outreach efforts.
